8th Inning Finishes As Season End Nears
[22-Sept] The 8th inning is in the books and Tom led wire-to-wire to grab his second win of the year by a comfortable margin. Bob rose steadily through the standings over the three weeks to capture second place, his highest finish of the year. He edged out Ron who bobbed around the standings before settling in third place and in the money again for the 7th straight week. Jay had a good third week, but it only netted him fourth place, a wee bit out of third. Rod's steady drop in the standings to fifth place due to disastrous injuries finished him out of the money. Seventh Inning Stretch
[1-Sept] The seventh inning is in the books - I hope you all remembered to stretch. Don't look now, but Keith registered a huge third week and stole his second win of the season! He edged out Ron who was hit hard with injuries and slipped to second. Well back in third was Rod as he inched his way up the standings the whole inning. Fourth goes to Tom who worked his way up steadily from the depths to get in the money. Fifth was Jay who rebounded well, but it wasn't enough. View all the details of Keith's stunning win.

Finished with the Sixth
[12-Aug] We have completed a very exciting inning with extremely high scores and a lot of lead changes. Rick came out on top of a duel between the season leaders to win the sixth inning. Ron came in a very close second, but maintained his very slim season lead. Bob slipped from his lofty lead at the end of two weeks, but managed to hang onto third place. Keith fell as well and met Ray coming up to finish tied for fourth place. Check out the details.
Fifth Inning Is Done
[26-July] The short third week is over and there was little change in the standings. Tom coasted to his first win of the season, but he almost got a little too lax. Brian rose up with a big flourish and almost caught him, but he did notch second place. Ron also put on a push, but he fell short and got squeezed into third place. Bob broke the tie for fourth place and claimed it for himself. We now have a game of musical chairs going among the first-division-five for the season standings, and the situation is very fluid. Only 73 points separates the first five in the standings with Ron currently in the lead. Open the spreadsheet to see all the details. The standings page has also been updated.

Fourth Inning Closes
[30-June] Wonder of wonders! Keith held on and even lengthened out his lead to win the 4th inning going away. Ron maintained his second place position by another comfortable margin and continues his relentless pursuit of the season lead. Ray stayed in third place after his second-week surge to claim a money-finish. The move of the week was put on by Jay to climb from a tie for 8th to get fourth place and the last money spot and his first bucks of the year. He just edged out Tom who came in a close fifth. Third Inning, Three Out
[9-June] We have a winner in the 3rd inning and it is Ron! He is really coming on and is making a run at the top spot for the season. Second place was easily secured by Rod as he remains in the hunt for the season. Bob maintained his slight advantage to hang onto third place and move into the middle of the pack for the season. Tom made a good run in the third week, but could only manage fourth place. Rick remained out of the money for the first time this year and solidly in fifth place, but he sits atop the season standings at this juncture. View the final standings for the third inning.
[21-May] Jay's Redraft Recap is now available from the May 20th meeting.
Second Inning Complete
[19-May] Rick had a monster 3rd week and ran away with all the marbles to win the second inning. In fact, it was a near record inning total. Brian put up respectable numbers and also finished over 500 points, but he was a distant second. Ron had an equally huge week and made up distance from seventh to finish third in the inning, but he was a mile back of the leaders. Tom dropped off in the third week, but managed to hang on to fourth by a single point. The hard-luck fifth-place finisher was Bob with a valiant effort that fell just short. View the spreadsheet and get all the details.
[30-Apr] Jay's Redraft Recap is now available from the April 29th meeting.
Inning 1 In The Record Books
[28-Apr] The results are in for the first inning of GUAMRL 2009! Rod is the big winner as he maintained his two-week lead and even stretched it out to win by a landslide. Rick broke the tie for second and secured it handily. Ray slipped into third with a strong third week and Brian fell all the way into fourth, but still secured the last money spot. Jay had a resurgence in the third week, but only managed fifth.
2009 Draft
GUAMRL Owners met on April 5th to draft player rosters, Team / MVP rosters and turn in All-Star teams for the 2009 Season. The day went very smoothly thanks to the preparation and organization of our Commissioner Keith. Big thanks to the Yokayo Bowling Alley in Ukiah for providing a venue, food and refreshments for the day.

Pictured above, Keith, Brian and Rod are preparing the position sheets as Tom and Ron get ready for the draft.
